Strength and Conditioning Circuit training is one of the most effective ways to maintain strength, while increasing overall muscle endurance. As an athlete, your goal is to be able to compete at 100% for the entire competition. The only way to achieve that is to have the highest level of muscle endurance.
SAQ-Training has become one of, if not the most important factor in sports. The most competitive athletes have an advanced combination of Speed, Agility, and Quickness. Phase 1 Sports SAQ-Training uses a high intensity focus session that includes advanced techniques, running form, and specialized equipment. Each athlete will benefit from SAQ Training regardless of the sport.
Since the beginning of sports conditioning, athletes have benefited from outdoor training. Greats like Walter Peyton, Jerry Rice, and many others have used different forms of training to excel to the highest levels possible in their sport. Phase 1 Sports has used the term "OTB-Training" to represent our ability to maximize hills, sand, mountains, etc. to take our athletes to the next level. During different times of the year these types of training sessions are available to all of our athletes.
4 Quarters is a complete functional class. In a one hour period the class will progress through "4 Quarters" of Power, Strength, Endurance, and Stability. Multiple exercises in these four categories, complete the one hour class. Each quarter will be timed allowing athletes to benefit based on their own conditioning level.
Plyometrics are one of the most effective forms of training. The focus in this class is explosive power, first step quickness, and overall vertical jump. Athletes of all sports can benefit from improving in each of these categories. In a one hour class athletes will be utilizing medicine balls, boxes, etc. while training on indoor field turf.
In recent years KickBoxing has taken training to another level. This training style is now practiced by athletes of all sports. It is a great way to shock your system causing muscle confusion and change your normal routine. The class consist of an intense hour of kicking and punching 100 lb. bags coupled with calisthenics at an aggressive pace that is sure to deliver maximum results.
